failure to meet the deadline for deployment of the announced update, which was supposed to bring us the functionality we needed
our not quite correct grasp of the application and its possibilities
After we left 1CLICK we started using a competing application, especially one operated abroad, and we stayed with it for 5 years, although it didn’t suit us completely – it was perfectly customizable and included a number of functionalities that 1CLICK didn’t have. But its primary mission was to serve the trades, and its use for our purposes as a smaller design, engineering and construction contracting firm limped along.
When I got the call from Mr. Patzak, after I signed up for a trial of 1CLICK out of simple curiosity and we met shortly after, we agreed to return right away.
Why? There are a number of reasons:
we are a small company and so to speak we all see each other’s plates, so we don’t need complex applications with even more complex outputs, we need clear and unambiguous allocation of tasks, control of their execution, management of processes in the company and a perfect overview of all this in context
not everyone in our company speaks English and the previous competitor application we used was primarily designed for English speaking users with very poorly translated manuals – 1CLICK is Czech, clear and easy to understand
a quick advice over the phone is worth gold when you start using the app and talking to someone you physically know and who knows you is much more pleasant than talking to an anonymous hotline employee who doesn’t know you and doesn’t care about you at all
1CLICK focuses on order and clarity in the organizational structure of the company, logic and functionality of processes, clarity of responsibilities and simple and logical control of the application
not everything that 1CLICK offers will be used, and not everything suits us – today I know that no application can suit all users, practical life is too diverse for that. But I see that the customizability of 1CLICK is great, and there is also the possibility of individual delivery of functionalities – e.g. custom-made processes. An agreement on this is not only possible, but also quick, like everything with 1CLICK
I hope it doesn’t sound like a cliché, but what was also very important for us was the proximity of the creators of 1CLICK to the users, the ability to listen to them and talk about their way of using the application, their expectations and thus draw suggestions for further development from real life – I really appreciate this after my previous experience
It is telling that after 5 years of not using the 1CLICK app, I had no problem to start using it basically online from day one. This is a testimony to the intuitive, logical and human-like way of setting up the 1CLICK application control and this is of great value to us, who are not IT experts, but mere users of the application.
